I've been using this beast for a while now and it has become one of my favorite tools. This thing will easily cut through 1" thick Aluminum plate without any trouble and it has a nice little light that shines down on the blade cutting area. The blades seem to last a really long time too. If I had to complain about something I'd say it's a bit on the heavy side but that's about it. One thing I plan to make for it is a vertical stand that attaches to my bench vise so I can use it as a stationary saw. Overall a very high quality tool that is perfect for a small shop- highly recommended!

We have a normal band saw and sometimes you can't cut materials because the frame gets in the way of longer pieces. I can see this would be a nice addition to our shop.

It's an awesome tool. I know these saws are made with different size openings as well as cordless versions. I'm pretty sure I've also seen a mount somewhere that allows you to turn it into a cutoff saw as well for cutting tubing and bar stock.

This looks like a very handy tool to use in the Workshop... What power rating (volts/watts) does it have...
